EASi Acquires Rivet Software
The XBRL community doesn’t usually see a lot of M&A activity, so this week’s acquisition of Rivet Software by Equity Administration Solutions, Inc. (EASi) stood out in XBRL news. Both are growth focused, private companies with an impressive roster of blue-chip clients. Cited benefits of the merger include the ability of the merged entity to better provide CFO’s with “solutions that provide transparency and efficiency in compliance activities and reliable, real-time controls”. Rivet’s current customers, meanwhile, will enjoy a “wider solution footprint” backed with greater levels of investment.
