XBRL Europe seeks dynamic CEO to lead organisation
XBRL Europe is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to steer the organisation forward. This part-time position, requiring approximately 100 days of commitment annually, offers the flexibility to work from any location within Europe, with some travel expected.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations, fostering relationships with members, organising working groups and annual conferences, and liaising with European and national authorities to advance the XBRL standard. The role demands a strong understanding of XBRL technical characteristics and business objectives, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.
This opportunity is perfect for someone familiar with the XBRL community and experienced in non-profit management. The CEO will start on 1 January 2025, with a transitional period beginning 1 September 2024. Applications are open until 24 June 2024.
