Transitioning from TCFD to ISSB standards
The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) is hosting a webinar on 5 December 2024 to discuss the transition from the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations to the ISSB Standards.
This is the sixth episode in the “Perspectives on Sustainability Disclosure” series and will provide insights into global progress on climate-related disclosures, alongside practical tips for companies adopting the ISSB Standards.
The ISSB Standards – IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 – build on and expand the TCFD recommendations, streamlining the transition for companies already familiar with the four core TCFD content areas: governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets. The session will also cover transition relief measures designed to help organisations phase in these new requirements.
