The IFRS Taxonomy facilitates the digital creation and consumption of financial information. It improves investors’ access to financial information by listing and defining specific codes, or elements, that can be used to tag items of data. Tagging enables investors to find, process and analyse data quickly and cost-effectively.

The IFRS Taxonomy reflects the presentation and disclosure requirements of IFRS Standards and includes elements from the accompanying materials to the IFRS Standards such as implementation guidance and illustrative examples. In addition, it contains elements for disclosures not specifically required by IFRS Standards but commonly reported in practice.

Join the webinar to learn about:

  • Objectives of the IFRS Taxonomy presentation linkbase
  • General design principles
  • IFRS Taxonomy presentation and accounting meaning of an element
