Doing Business 2016 World Rankings Released
Of the top ten countries rated by the World Bank as the most friendly to business, all leverage XBRL to some extent in their regulatory reporting. And 8 of the 10 are members of the consortium. We don’t think that’s a mere coincidence. And although XBRL doesn’t get called out by name, the article does cite online business registry systems as part of the reason that Singapore (#1 overall) and Denmark (#1 in Europe) rank so highly.
