Using a case study on Deloitte’s proposed MiFID II filing solutions for a European Bank, Kehoe, will explain the potential that blockchain offers to fundamentally change how information flows between firms and regulators, reducing the filing burden and producing better results for both parties.

• Ms Xiaomin Zhang, Global Wholesale Banking Technology Executive, APAC at Bank of America Merrill Lynch will address the question “Blockchain or Don’t Blockchain?” She will describe the journey that the Bank has experienced in working on a multi-party effort to re-engineer aspects of Trade Finance Letter of Credit lifecycle management by using Blockchain.
