Deadline to prepare for new LEI data formats is here
From 1 March 2022, all Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) services will accept and display data in updated Common Data File (CDF) formats, requiring users to implement these file formats by that date for uninterrupted access to LEI data. The new formats redefine how LEI-issuing organisations report their LEI and reference data, with a transition period planned during the month of March, and a wealth of supporting resources available from GLEIF. “The updated file formats will increase the level of open, standardized, and high-quality legal entity reference data available within the Global LEI Index,” says the Foundation.
