EFRAG seeks input into transition plan implementation guidance
The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) is gearing up to provide guidance to assist companies in disclosing their transition plans in alignment with the European Single Reporting Standards (ESRS).
In an effort to gather diverse perspectives and insights, EFRAG is reaching out to European companies subject to Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting requirements. The objective is to gather input on various practices and challenges related to disclosing transition plans, ultimately contributing to the development of comprehensive guidance on transition planning.
The guidance on transition planning will be designed to support companies in efficiently disclosing their transition plans in accordance with the adopted ESRS. It aims to outline the key topics to be included in the transition plan and their integration into sustainability reports, aligning with the standards’ requirements.
The engagement process will involve conducting interviews of one to two hours, to be conducted over the next two months.
Companies interested in contributing to this initiative are encouraged to submit their expression of interest by 23 April 2024.
