FCA unveils ‘my FCA’ portal to streamline digital regulatory reporting

Posted on April 11, 2025 by Editor

Last month the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) officially launched My FCA, a new digital portal designed to make it easier for authorised firms to manage regulatory reporting and compliance tasks. The platform brings together access to ConnectRegData, and the Online Invoicing System under a single sign-in, significantly simplifying the user experience.

Previously, firms had to log in to multiple systems to complete their regulatory duties. With My FCA, they can now view scheduled tasks—complete with deadlines and statuses—across systems up to 14 months ahead. The portal also provides direct links to necessary filings, regulatory updates, the FCA Handbook, and tools such as the Fee Calculator, all without the need to repeatedly sign in. While use of My FCA is not mandatory, the FCA encourages adoption to streamline workflows.

This launch marks a key step in the FCA and Bank of England’s Transforming Data Collection programme, which seeks to modernise regulatory data flows. As Jessica Rusu, the FCA’s Chief Data, Intelligence and Information Officer, put it: “We’ve listened to feedback and created a simple, clear and easy way for firms to meet their regulatory obligations.”

Unified portals like My FCA help lay the groundwork for high-quality digital reporting and better regulatory oversight. By making data collection more user-friendly, they support structured reporting standards and more effective supervision.
