FERC enhances XBRL filing with version update
The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is advancing its XBRL filing process with the release of Version 2024-04-01 for FERC Forms. Effective from the first quarter of 2024, this update encompasses taxonomies, validation rules and rendering files for Forms 1, 1-F, 2, 2-A, 3-Q electric, 3-Q natural gas, 6, 60, and 714.
Stakeholders can access draft versions for testing on the eForms portal, with the opportunity to provide feedback until 1 March 2024.
From 28 March 2024, FERC requires the use of Version 2024-04-01 for all relevant filings. This includes the 2023 FERC Form Nos. 60 and 714 and the 2024 FERC Form Nos. 1, 1-F, 2, 2-A, 3-Q electric, 3-Q natural gas, and 6. Detailed version information is available on the Taxonomy History page.
