IASB Call for Submissions for their Annual Academic Forum
The fifth annual International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Research Forum will take place on the 11th and 12th of November 2018 in Sydney, Australia. The Forum will provide an opportunity for academic authors to present their papers to a mixed audience of academics and accountants, providing new insights into standard-setting and regulation developments, as well as more practically-based, industry-relevant findings. The Research Forum is held annually to provide a collaborative platform that contributes to the direction of the standard-setting activities of the IASB.
With the IFRS taxonomy being used for reporting in a significant number of jurisdictions as well as springing into action in the United States, it would be nice (hint, hint) to see some academic work on comparability, on accessibility and on utility… Academics that would like to discuss are very welcome to get in touch with XBRL International.
The call for papers can be found here.
