Regnology poised to expand with planned acquisition of InvokE
Regnology, a leading provider of regulatory reporting solutions, is making waves in the industry with its plan to acquire Invoke, a prominent French-based financial, regulatory, and tax reporting solutions provider. This strategic move marks Regnology’s fifth acquisition in less than a year.
Invoke, known for its XBRL-based banking, insurance, and tax reporting solutions, serves a wide range of regulated entities and supervisory authorities across Europe, boasting an impressive client base of over 1,800. Regnology recognizes the potential synergy between its offerings and Invoke’s expertise, particularly in the realm of corporate tax solutions.
Regnology’s recent series of acquisitions, including Metadata Technology, KPMG’s K-Helix reporting software business unit, b-fine, and PwC UK’s Tax Information Reporting software business, have already set the stage for significant international expansion.
Rob Mackay, the CEO of Regnology, expressed his enthusiasm about the deal, emphasising the compatibility of Invoke’s advanced solutions with Regnology’s technology stack. Bobby Rahman, Head of M&A for Regnology, suggests that these moves are aimed at consolidating its RegTech and SupTech offerings into a robust integrated regulatory reporting platform.
The acquisition of Invoke is subject to ongoing due diligence and various conditions, including consultation with Invoke’s works council and the execution of a definitive agreement. But — you know — we thought you’d like to know.
