SEC Publishes the Regulatory Flexibility Agenda (RFA)
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently published the Regulatory Flexibility Agenda (RFA) in the Federal Register.
Twice a year, under the Regulatory Flexibility Act, the SEC is required to publish an agenda identifying rules that the agency expects it may reconsider in the next 12 months. Only agenda entries that require an RFA analysis are included. An analysis is required where rule changes mean that there will be a significant impact on a large number of small reporting entities.
We encourage our readers to take a look and see what could be coming up on the SEC’s agenda this year.
Comments are welcome – any feedback concerning the RFA agenda and on individual rules included in the agenda must be submitted by 11 March.
