SEC upgrades EDGAR to support updated VIP taxonomy
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has upgraded its EDGAR system to Release 24.4, now supporting the updated 2024q4 Variable Insurance Product (VIP) Taxonomy.
This taxonomy enables tagging of disclosures related to the SEC’s final rule on index-linked and registered market value adjustment annuities, as well as amendments to Form N-4 for variable annuities.
