Taxonomy Architects: Updated Guidance on Dimensions Now Available
The Taxonomy Architecture Guidance Task Force has now updated its guidance on the use of XBRL Dimensions. The guidance promotes consistency and simplicity in taxonomy designs and XBRL implementations.
This “technical FAQ” is more technical than most of our guidance materials, but by providing clear, unambiguous solutions to common technical questions, implementers are left free to focus on the business requirements for their project.
The FAQ helps clarify the best approach to a wide range of areas where the XBRL Dimensions Specification provides choices to taxonomy designers. The FAQ is now on the XBRL web site (Members Only).
