Western Balkans sees New Digital Agenda

In a recent bid to bring about a new digital agenda for the Eastern European bloc, the European Commission has committed to supporting the transition of the region into a digital economy. It is hoped through these changes that faster economic growth, increased jobs and better services will manifest.

The EC has made five main commitments which include not only boosting research and innovation in the region, but also strengthening the blocs connectivity, business climate and further increasing cybersecurity, trust and digitalisation of industry.
