Welcome New Consortium Members
XBRL International is pleased to welcome the two newest members to the consortium – the Amman Stock Exchange and the Jordan Securities Commission. This represents a growing trend in membership in this region, from the securities sector (see related story, right), and from countries using the IFRS accounting standard. The Jordan Securities Commission mandates that listed companies use IFRS, and XBRL based reporting is a natural follow on to that. We will report back on the project there as it advances.
