XII Board of Directors Makes Leadership Appointments
At its 25 September meeting the XII Board of Directors was pleased to make a number of appointments related to the XII Best Practices Board and the XII Certification Board.
Appointed to leadership positions on the Best Practices Board are:
- Ian Hicks, Corefiling, Chair
- Brad Monterio, Colcomgroup, Vice Chair
Appointed as Chair for the Certification Board:
- Josef Macdonald, Independent consultant, Chair
New members of the Best Practices Board include:
- Thomas Boemoeser, JC Analytics, Germany
- Ignacio Boixo, Bank of Spain, Spain
- Gianluca Garbellotto, IPHIX, AU/US
The XBRL International Best Practices Board (BPB) actively manages the production, dissemination, and continual improvement of products and resources that describe practices, methods, and processes for successful implementation, integration, maintenance, and usage of XBRL specifications.
The XBRL International Certification Board (XCB) is tasked with the strategic leadership the XII’s certification program, including the development of the framework, components, education, examination and maintenance requirements for certification. The XCB also advises the XII Board on the execution and monitoring of ongoing Certification activities.
